This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for using the Ventanova platform. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Sending Policy.


1. Permitted Uses

Ventanova may be used exclusively for:

1.1 Legitimate B2B Activities

  • B2B commercial prospecting: Identify and contact businesses likely to be interested in your services
  • Business development: Build professional relationships with qualified prospects
  • B2B direct marketing: Targeted email campaigns to professionals
  • Recruitment: Contact professional candidates (in compliance with GDPR)

1.2 Conditions of Use

  • You must represent a company or act as an independent professional
  • Your activities must be legal in all relevant jurisdictions
  • You must respect the rights of your communication recipients

2. Prohibited Activities

2.1 Platform Abuse

It is strictly prohibited to:

2.3 Illegal Activities

  • Any activity contrary to applicable laws
  • Use for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
  • Participation in money laundering activities
  • Facilitation of criminal activities

3. Compliance Obligations

3.1 Your Responsibilities

By using Ventanova, you agree to:

Data Quality

  • Keep your contact lists up to date and accurate
  • Remove invalid or unsubscribed contacts
  • Verify the relevance of your targeting

Consent Documentation

  • Document the legal basis for your sends
  • Keep proof of consent where applicable
  • Be able to justify your practices if audited

Regulatory Compliance

  • Comply with the CAN-SPAM Act (United States)
  • Comply with CASL (Canada)
  • Comply with GDPR (European Union)
  • Comply with CCPA (California)
  • Comply with applicable local laws

3.2 Abuse Reporting

You must immediately report to abuse@ventanova.ai:

  • Any suspicious use of your account
  • Any violations you observe on the platform
  • Any unauthorized access attempts

4. Detection and Sanctions

4.1 Monitoring

Ventanova may monitor use of its Services to:

  • Detect violations of this policy
  • Protect platform integrity
  • Meet legal obligations

4.2 Sanction Process

4.3 Types of Sanctions

Minor violations (first occurrence):

Moderate violations (repeat or severity):

  • Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
  • Reactivation conditional on commitments

Severe violations:

  • Permanent account suspension
  • No refunds
  • Reporting to authorities if applicable

5. Appeal Procedure

5.1 How to Appeal

If you contest a sanction:

  1. Deadline: 7 days from notification
  2. Address: abuse@ventanova.ai
  3. Subject: "APPEAL - [Your Account ID]"
  4. Required content:
    • Detailed explanation of your position
    • Supporting evidence or documentation
    • Corrective measures taken or planned

5.2 Appeal Processing

  • Acknowledgment within 48 hours
  • Decision within 5 business days
  • The appeal decision is final

5.3 Limitations

Appeals are not admissible for:

  • Violations involving illegal content
  • Fraudulent or phishing activities
  • Repeated violations after warnings

6. Changes to This Policy

Ventanova may modify this policy at any time. In case of substantial changes:

  • Email notification 30 days before effective date
  • Publication on this page with update date
  • Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance
